Riga's Gallery Walk

Art galleries in Riga have joined in common event “Riga’s Gallery Walk” that will take place on May 12 . The event aims at attracting public attention to city’s art galleries and their exhibitions.
                                           Galleries participating in the Gallery Walk All the galleries participating in the action will be expecting their visitors from 10.00 a.m. – 08.00 p.m. An especially intriguing fact to be mentioned is the chance to win a 400 Ls worth Gallery Prize. The winner will be selected in the lottery during the action closing event. The winner will have a chance to choose the artwork worth 400 Ls in any of the galleries participating in the action. It may be a watercolour, oil painting, graphic, sculpture, dress or jewellery. Recommendations to the participants:

* Easy, comfortable shoes are advised, as well as an umbrella.
* To go to any closest art gallery (see the gallery list) and get a map of the galleries there.
* To visit every gallery mentioned in the list – and get a respective mark at the gallery map.
* To leave the completed map with your personal contact information at the last gallery visited
